ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION OF MEDICAL AND NURSING CENTERS IN AFRICA

The NGO IHA prioritizes the organization and support of medical centers in low-income countries (such as those in Africa) to provide care for poor patients.

Specialized volunteer staff and partners of IHA, with the necessary expertise and knowledge, design and implement the relevant programs. Subsequently, the NGO oversees and supports the uninterrupted operation and continuous offering of the medical unit to the local community.

Previously, efforts were supported at the Holy Cross Hospital in Namungoona Kampala – Uganda, and then at the Hospitali Ufufuo in Bukoba – Tanzania. Recently, an initiative was undertaken to organize a Health Center in the Carama area of Bujumbura – Burundi.

However, for years, the focus of the NGO IHA has been on the operation of the Health Center “Annunciation” in Tulear, Madagascar, for which it has exclusive operational responsibility.
