CONTRIBUTION TO EDUCATION - PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS

The illiteracy rate, especially in rural areas of the African continent, is very high due to the lack of school facilities and mainly due to economic hardship. Many families lack even the essentials for survival. A large percentage of children in Africa do not have the opportunity to attend even primary education.

One particular story is of a father who divided one pencil into three so that his three children could attend school. There are also children who cannot attend school due to lack of clothing or because they cannot afford the minimal fee of 2 euros for a whole year’s tuition.

One of the primary actions of the NGO IHA is securing tuition fees so that children who lack the opportunity can attend primary and secondary education. It is unbelievable but true that a child can attend school for a year with just one two-euro coin. Additionally, stationery is distributed, school meals are provided, and school buildings are repaired.
