Clean Water Supply

Working on establishing access to clean water

A large portion of the world’s population still does not have access to clean drinking water. This is a major cause of illness and death, especially for children, as contaminated water causes gastroenteritis (with diarrhea and vomiting) leading to dehydration and often death. It is truly sad that in the 21st century, children die due to a lack of clean water. Ensuring clean drinking water is truly a life-saving contribution. For this purpose, the organization ensures:
  • Placement of plastic tanks in schools or construction of underground tanks next to churches for collecting rainwater from gutters
  • Drilling of wells, such as at the clinic in Tulear.
In the past, a drilling machine was purchased in Cyprus and sent to Bukoba, Tanzania, where a specialist voluntarily drilled many wells.
